Terms of service
These terms cover the Guitarry desktop app and guitarry.com. Using either means you agree to them.
What Guitarry is
Guitarry for desktop is a fretboard learning and visualization tool. It can track the guitar neck through your laptop camera and place user-selected chord, scale, triad, key, or tab overlays on it. Its tuner listens on-device. This release does not listen to, grade, diagnose, or verify your playing, and it does not track your fingertips.
Guitarry Pro subscription
Guitarry Pro is an optional auto-renewing desktop subscription: $19.99 per month or $159.99 per year. Subscribe within the first 3 days of first opening Guitarry and you pay half price — $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year — for as long as you keep the subscription. That discount is applied automatically by a single-use code the app supplies when you open the purchase page; the code expires 3 days after you first open Guitarry, after which the standard price applies. The amount you will actually be charged, and any tax, are shown at checkout before you subscribe. Pro unlocks Practice, layered Playground tools, and the private on-device Tab Creator. The reference Library, My Library, and the tuner remain free.
The Guitarry app itself gives every new installation 7 calendar days of the full Pro feature set, starting at first launch. It needs no card, no account and no subscription, and it is separate from anything Lemon Squeezy offers.
Checkout and billing are provided by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. When you subscribe, Lemon Squeezy emails a license key. One purchase runs one active computer. Paste the key under Settings → Subscription and enter the six-digit code we send to the email address on the purchase — the key alone does not activate anything, which is what keeps a shared or forwarded key from unlocking a second machine. To move to a different computer, press Deactivate on the current one first; if that machine is lost or broken, contact support and we will release it after verifying the purchase email. The subscription renews automatically at the displayed interval until you cancel through the Lemon Squeezy order portal linked from your receipt. Cancel before the next renewal to avoid the next charge; access continues through the paid period and ends when the subscription expires. Uninstalling Guitarry does not cancel a subscription.
Prices, trial length, renewal interval, and any tax are shown again at checkout before you subscribe. If checkout details conflict with this page, do not purchase and contact hello@guitarry.com so we can correct them.
Refunds and billing help
For a duplicate charge, accidental renewal, technical inability to activate, or another billing problem, email hello@guitarry.com with the order number from your receipt. Refund requests are reviewed promptly under applicable consumer law and the refund terms shown by Lemon Squeezy at checkout.
Your use
Guitarry’s fretboard graphics and app content belong to Guitarry and are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. Don’t copy, resell, or redistribute them. You retain rights to original material you enter into Tab Creator. Only import material you created, that is public domain, or that you are permitted to use. Practice sensibly—stop if something hurts; app content is instructional information, not personal instruction.
No warranty, limited liability
Guitarry is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep fretboard tracking and the tuner useful, but we don’t guarantee the app is error-free or always available, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law of your home country.
Ending or changing things
You can stop using Guitarry at any time. Deleting the app’s local data removes its settings, license record, saved sessions, and locally created tabs from that computer, but does not cancel a subscription. We may update the app and these terms; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “last updated” date. See the privacy policy for data details.
